Shipping and returns
1. Delivery zones
DSWOOD ships its orders to mainland France, Corsica, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland and Germany. For any delivery request to another destination, please contact us directly at contact@dswood.fr.
2. Preparation and shipping times
As each piece is handcrafted in our workshop in Alsace, a period of 3 to 7 business days is required to prepare your order before shipping.
Products with the custom engraving option require an additional 2 to 4 business days for production.
During periods of high activity (end-of-year holidays, events), these times may be slightly extended — you will be informed by email if this is the case.
3. Shipping methods and fees
Orders are shipped via Colissimo or Mondial Relay, with tracking and signature on delivery for fragile products.
- Mainland France: from €6.90 — free from €120 of purchase
- Corsica, Belgium, Luxembourg: from €12.90
- Switzerland, Germany: from €17.90
Exact fees are calculated automatically at checkout based on weight and destination.
4. Tracking your order
As soon as your order ships, a confirmation email is sent to you with the tracking number allowing you to track the parcel in real time on the carrier's website.
In case of an abnormal delay or damaged parcel, please contact us within 48 hours at contact@dswood.fr.
5. Right of withdrawal
In accordance with article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code, you have a period of 14 days from the receipt of your order to exercise your right of withdrawal, without having to justify any reason.
To do so, please contact us at contact@dswood.fr stating your order number. We will then communicate the return procedure to you.
6. Products excluded from the right of withdrawal
In accordance with article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for:
- Made-to-measure or clearly personalised products — in particular items with a custom engraving or a custom plaque
- Products unsealed after delivery and that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons
7. Return procedures and fees
The product must be returned in its original packaging, in perfect condition, unused and accompanied by the invoice.
Return shipping fees are the responsibility of the customer, except in the case of a defective product or error on our part.
We recommend sending via Colissimo with tracking. Any product lost or damaged during the return remains the customer's responsibility.
8. Refund
Refunds are processed within a maximum period of 14 days from receipt of the returned product, using the same payment method used at purchase.
9. Defective or damaged products
If your order arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days of receipt with photos at contact@dswood.fr.
We will proceed, depending on the case, to replace the product, repair it or issue a full refund, in accordance with articles L217-4 et seq. of the French Consumer Code relating to the legal warranty of conformity.
